Research Interest
Doug has a research collaboration with the University of Arkansas Medical School's SARA lab. Superconducting QUantum Interference Device (SQUID) technology measures the weak biomagnetic fields generated in the brain of the human fetus. The SQUID Array for Reproductive Assessment (SARA) was developed to apply SQUID technology to the measurement of physiological parameters including the brain function of fetuses, mothers, and newborns.
