Parallel Processing
We are currently running MPICH2 for MPI parallel processing on 32b and 64b machines. The PIII cluster runs 24x7. The 64-bit machines are subject to reboot and are therefore better suited for short-running jobs. Some of the 64-bit machines have multicore cpus and can be used for OpenMP development.
